Can you tell us a liitle bit about yourself and your crypto background?

Hi guys, Its my pleasure to be in AMA with DHC today
My name is Josephine, Im CFO of UpfiNetwork. I have been in crypto industry since 2016, went through many ups and downs of the market, also gained a lot of experiences which help me quite confident to be CFO of Upfinetwork today. Let’s support each other for Upfi’s strong growth

How about the team and their background?
Josephine
We are now have total 15 people in our project, 6 in tech, 6 in marketing, 2 in legal and admin, and the last but not least is CEO. We are hiring 2 devs right now. So let’s me know if you want to apply for a job with us
In 15 people, we have 4 people in founding team, 2 people in founding team at early stage, and 2 people joined team a bit later

Now lets talk about the UPFI network. Could you please elaborate on the project and what its use case is?
Josephine
Very interesting question. Thank you. UPFI Network is the First Fraction Algorithm Stablecoin built on Solana Blocks. Won the 1st Region prize Solana Hackathon 2021. UPFI is a stablecoin that is partially backed by collateral and algorithmically stabilized. This collateral is utilized to make redemptions, which helps to maintain price stability. The collateralized to algorithmic ratio is determined by the market price of UPFI stablecoin. When UPFI trades for more than $1, the protocol reduces the collateral ratio. When UPFI trades for less than $1, the protocol raises the collateral ratio. All of this gonna keep it’s stability. We are also backed by famous and well known backers such as DHC here. Go go DHC

Yes ofcourse, we are working with many backers and famous communities such as Moonwhale, Panda Capital, Exnetwork, OIG, CSPDao etc. 2 biggest communities in Vietnam such as TCVN and Crypto Family.

Any date on the listing of the governance token and can you tell us a little about it?
Josephine
We are planning for IDO at the end of Oct or Early Nov. As many of you already knew about us, or if not, It’s a great chance for me to announce again. The governance token will be build after the core product. This is a pretty good part of the UPFI project, We will try to develop the token governance well to stay in line with the project’s roadmap

Do you think users are important elements of your platform? Does UPFI have any plans to attract more users in the future?

Let’s start with this first.
Of course, users are really important to our platform. We are trying everyday and work harder for users. UPFI will launch many products to bring a lot of sustainable benefits to users such as governance staking, lending, farming…

Security & User Interface are the Most Important Aspect that Users see on a platform. How has UPFI Network worked on this? Is Platform suitable for Newbies in the crypto field?
Josephine
This is very nice question and I believe many people would like to know about .Regarding security, by using high speed and low transaction fees on Solana, which makes the price balancing process more efficient than other blockchains. In addition, the UPFI protocol is working closely with the ChainLink & Pyth Network Oracle development team to provide the most secure oracle solution for users on the UPFI Network. Yes It is suitable for Newbies, we will have clear guideline for new users.

What are UPFI’s long-term goals and vision? In order to achieve the highest efficiency of the set goals, what is UPFI’s roadmap in the near future, what will be the goals that UPFI will focus on developing this year?
Josephine
Sure, We have a serious long-term vision for the UPFI network, the important thing is UPFI wants to bring a stablecoin that is safe, efficient, completely onchain and highly applicable in both blockchain transactions and real life. Imagine your daily expense transaction fees are almost zero, and you will receive an incentives on using Upfi and use them anywhere as well.
Our Roadmap in the near future will be IDO in this month or early Nov, we will open farming pool, then lending in this year. There will be few other products. We also plan to be listed on Cex in this year.

What major partnerships does UPFI Network intend to use or how does UPFI Network bring its products to the average consumer — especially non-crypto users?
Josephine
For the product right now we are working with Pyth and Chainlink who are famous for Oacles as to provide the most secure oracle solutions for users on the Upfi Network.
For Non Crypto Users and Traditional Partners, as my 10 years exp in finance and economy, I understand many govs now show their interest in Cryptocurrencies and What’s the best bridge to bring cryptocurrencies to real life is go through projects like us

I totally agree and mainstream adoption is inevitable.

We have a great system which can be used to apply to any tradional financial transactions. Not an competitor, but an supporter in blockchain.
